Information collected

The private inquiry collects the names and contact details you provide, wedding information, collection preferences, and the parts of your story you choose to share. Technical service data may also be processed when the form is submitted so that it can be delivered securely and protected from misuse.

How information is used

Your information is used to review your inquiry, respond to you, recommend an appropriate collection, and discuss a possible McPherson Editions project. Personal information is not sold or used for unrelated advertising.

Service providers

McPherson Editions uses carefully selected service providers for website hosting, secure data storage, and transactional email delivery. They process information only to provide those services and are not permitted to use your story for their own marketing.

Private material and publication

Your inquiry, photographs, personal messages, family details, and memorial content are treated as private project material. Nothing is published on the website, in a portfolio, or on social media without the couple’s prior written permission. Sensitive material requires specific consent, and permission may be limited to selected pages, photographs, or excerpts.

When appropriate, surnames and personal messages may be concealed. Photographs that identify relatives, guests, or other third parties are not used as public examples without appropriate authorization. In memoriam pages are never displayed publicly without express permission.

How long information is kept

Inquiry information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide requested services, maintain business records, or meet legal obligations. You may ask for your inquiry information to be corrected or deleted, subject to records that must be retained by law.
